Whew! I’ve had a very crazy week and weekend.  This evening has been the first time I’ve had the chance to sit down since Wednesday.  I can’t complain though, because some wonderful things have been happened to me this week 🙂

Hello bookworms!

Today I am back with one of my favorite features here on Cover2CoverMom: Book Blogger Recs!  It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, and I forgot how much I love this feature.

Book Blogger Recs is a feature where I highlight book bloggers based on a particular theme.  This will not just be a simple listing of blog recommendations, but a mini Q&A session with each blogger.  This way you can get to know the bloggers a little better before checking out their blogs for yourselves.

Since we are now in October, the month of all things HALLOWEEN, I thought it was time to feature book bloggers that have reading tastes on the darker end of the spectrum.

On Thursday, July 19th, I had the pleasure of attending An Evening with Patrick Rothfuss at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Cincinnati, Ohio…

Last year I designated August as an ARC reading month, so I figured I’d keep up the tradition and try to read mostly ARCs this month.  I am really trying to clear out the remaining old ARCs from NetGalley that I’ve been putting off.  Like been putting off since 2016… It is starting to be slim pickings.

How is everyone?  I WAS having a good day until this evening when we discovered that there is water leaking into our basement.  Oh yes.  Our brand new carpet is ripped up and in the process of drying as we speak.  Nothing ruins your Sunday feels more than a leaking basement.  Hence why this post is late.

Such is life right? Let’s talk books so I can forget about my basement woes…
