Bookish Travels: Bookstores I Visited in Savannah, Georgia


Some of you may remember that my family and I visited Georgia for our spring break in March.  We stayed on Tybee Island, which is about 25 minutes outside of Savannah, Georgia.  While in Savannah, I decided to visit two of Savannah’s most famous independent bookstores!  Since Independent Bookstore Day is this Saturday April 27th, I thought I’d celebrate by sharing some pictures from my visit…

Author Event: Laurie Halse Anderson’s Book Tour for Shout



On March 14th, I had the pleasure of attending Laurie Halse Anderson’s book tour for her poetic memoir, Shout.  This event was held at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers store in Cincinnati, Ohio.
