Hello fellow bookworms! It’s Tuesday and that means it is time for another Top Ten Tuesday post!
What is TTT? TTT is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Check out their blog for more info and to see upcoming themes.
This week’s theme is…
September 27: Books On My Fall TBR List
Oh man. Can I just say all the books? ALL THE BOOKS. I would LOVE to get all these books read this fall, but in reality I am shooting for getting these read before the end of the year…
» Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
I’m pretty sure if I don’t read this book soon, my good friend Kirsty over at Kirsty and the Cat Read is going to have my head.
» November 9 by Colleen Hoover
I have never read a Colleen Hoover book and I am determined to make November 9 my first! My Mom’s birthday is actually November 9th, so I feel like I am destined to pick this one up.
» A Gathering of Shadows by V.E. Schwab
How have I not read this yet?!?! What am I doing with my life?
» Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi
I have been looking forward to this one since it came out back in June. I have yet to see one negative review on this book.
» Illuminae by Amie Kafman & Jay Kristoff
So many of my blogger friends have read this one this summer and ALL of them have loved it. I must say, this is probably one of the most aesthetically interesting books I own. I am definitely curious about it.
» The Underground Railroad by Colson Whitehead
Another book I’ve been anticipating. I actually received an ARC of this one, so it is LONG past time to actually read it. Also, Oprah made this a book selection for her book club, so it has to be awesome. Oprah sure knows how to pick a book!
» The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
Gaaaaahhhh another book I’ve been dying to read! I can almost not take it.
» An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
I picked up the second book in this series, A Torch Against the Night, last month while I was in a book store. Why would I pick up the second book series when I haven’t read the first? It was the release day and it was an autographed copy, that’s why! No regrets 🙂
» End of Watch by Stephen King
This is the 3rd and final installment in the Bill Hodges trilogy. I attended the End of Watch Book Tour back in June, where I picked up my unsigned copy (signed copies were given at random – yes I was disappointed) so I would really like to finish the series this fall.
» Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys
I know I am going to love this book. Now all I need is the time to actually read it…
Have you read any of these books?
Which books are on your fall TBR?
Feel Free to link to your own TTT!
Haha I’m just pretty sure you’ll love Six of Crows! Also I can’t believe you haven’t read Salt to the Sea yet! Tut tut!!

I know!!! I feel like a big fat blogger failure lol

Don’t you worry about that. I only read series books if the series is over, or the final book will be published within the next two months. I haven’t read it either! But it’s on the eventual TBR.

Great list! There are so many books on there I want to read. I finished A Gathering of Shadows last week, it was so good!

Ugh! I loved ADSOM but I just haven’t had time to read AGOS yet. I die a little bit inside every day I don’t pick it up lol

Amanda so many goodies!!! Six Of Crows, Illuminae, & The Night Circus! ALL favorites of mine. You also have a few that I want to get to sooner rather than later. I don’t like horror but have always wanted to read at least 1 Stephen King book b4 I kick the bucket (no time soon hopefully lol) & I’ve heard that the Bill Hodges trilogy is perfect 4 me. Salt To The Sea, I was legit staring this one down last night at Strand Bookstore. It was on the top most shelf & I’m very short but Gretchen @Chicnerdreads offered to get it down for me smh, I should’ve taken her up on that offer LOL.

The Bill Hodges trilogy would be perfect because it is crime fiction and not horror. Don’t get me wrong, the antagonist is all kinds of f***ed up in the head…
Hahahaha I am 5’8″ but most of my friends are on the short side…. When we take pictures I legit look like a beast lol
I’ve heard such wonderful things about Salt to the Sea. Obviously I know I’ll love it because it is historical fiction 🙂

yes that’s what I’ve been told, this will be the first of his books that I read. I don’t mind an effed up character at all so we’ll see. 5’8?!?! I’m only 5’1 but claim 5’2 to anyone who’ll believe me lol. You probably will enjoy Sat To The Sea, I think I will to 😉

I enjoyed both THE NIGHT CIRCUS and SALT TO THE SEA. They’re both great. The former isn’t an easy read, but it’s the kind that really sticks with you.
Happy TTT!

So I visited your TTT post, but when I tried to comment, I kept getting an error screen 😦
I hadn’t heard of many of the books on your list! I love historical fiction, so The Hired Girl looked intriguing.
I have heard of The First Time She Drowned and I have been curious about it myself.

I loooove this list!
I’m going to read Six of Cros this fall too! Hopefully before the year ends…
I’ve heard so many fantastic things, and the book sounds right up my alley. Also, I will be meeting Leigh Bardugo this Saturday, so I will probably buy the book this weekend. 😀
Glad to see Homegoing and Underground Railroad on here. I don’t have the latter yet. I’ve placed it in my 2017 TBR, which is slowly growing and growing..

How exciting!!! I just had a friend meet her in New York this week and she had a wonderful time. She also mentioned that 10% of the sales go to a charity for girls who have been victims of sexual exploitation and trafficking. I thought it was neat. I hope you have a wonderful time!
I was lucky enough to receive an ARC copy of Underground Railroad, but have failed miserably and haven’t read it yet. I cannot wait to read it.

Wow, SO many great books on your TBR list. I’d love to get to Illuminae and Ember in the Ashes, too. Six of Crows is so well-written and the characters & worldbuilding are fantastic. The Night Circus is special.

I cannot wait to see what you think of it. Night Circus is on my “rest of the year TBR” therefore I plan on reading it before the year is over. Good luck with your reading!
