Hello my lovelies! It’s Tuesday and that means it is time for another Top Ten Tuesday post. I know I am a little late to the game, but better late then never right?
What is TTT? TTT is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish. Check out their blog for more info and to see upcoming themes.
This week’s theme is…
August 2: Ten Books You’d Buy Right This Second If Someone Handed You A Fully Loaded Gift Card
These posts are always dangerous for me. Once I start looking through my TBR list on Goodreads, it always ends with me buying books… Must. Resist. Temptation…
This is just going to be a random list of books currently on my wishlist 🙂 All pricing given is from Amazon.
» November 9 by Colleen Hoover = $7.78 (Paperback)
» This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab = $10.36 (Hardback)
» The Nest by Cynthia D’Aprix Sweeney = $16.19 (Hardback)
» 11/22/63 by Stephen King = $16.04 (Hardback)
» The Martian by Andy Weir = $14.88 (Hardback)
» The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón = $10.11 (Paperback)
You can read my review here → Book Review: The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
» The Lie Tree by Frances Hardinge = $10.55 (Hardback)

»The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater = $44.79 (Hardback)
I am currently reading the final installment in The Raven Cycle, The Raven King. Maggie Stiefvater will be attending a book festival near me in October and I can’t wait to get a signed book!!! I am not sure if we will be allowed to bring books into the festival for her to sign or not, but I know she will at least be selling and signing The Raven King. Regardless, I will be purchasing this series at some point.
You can read my review for book #1 here → Book Review: The Raven Boys (The Raven Cycle #1) by Maggie Stiefvater
» Mr. Mercedes & Finders Keepers by Stephen King = $37.19 (Hardbacks)
I attended Stephen King’s End of Watch Book Tour back in June and received the hardback version of End of Watch, the final installment of the Bill Hodges Trilogy… So now of course I need the first two books in the series.
You can read my reviews here → Book Review: Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King & Book Review: Finders Keepers by Stephen King
» Canterbury Classics Box Set = $125.13
Because duh. Just duh.
Technically I only need a gift card for $293.02! See, I can totally budget 🙂
*I have to disclose that after writing this post I totally bought November 9… but I have a really good excuse! Colleen Hoover is coming to Cincinatti OH on Friday for a book signing and my friend is going to get it signed for me since I cant attend! I was totally justified!!
If given a fully loaded gift card, which books would you buy? Feel free to link to your own TTT post!
Don’t lament the $300, instead consider it an investment in your future! 🙂

Get. Out. YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE A SIGNED HOOVER BOOK *squeals* No fair!! I love that you’ve actually priced everything up. I’m not going to otherwise I’ll convince myself that really it wouldn’t be so bad to buy them all *disappears under tsunami of books*
Let’s make a fort together in our Stiefvater-less corner of the world. I feel so guilty not having read the Raven Cycle yet!! I don’t even own it *gasp* I’m so worried I’m not going to 100% fall in love with it after all the hype.

I know! I’m so excited!!! I just wish I was going to meet her too 😢
I had to price everything out so I wouldn’t end up buying all the books… Last time I did a wish list post, I literally bought 4 books off the list 😅
I loved the Raven Cycle! I finished the last book up today actually. Of course there were a few things I didn’t care for, but the characters are so great that it overshadows any slight annoyances I had with the plot. The 4th book is actually my least favorite. There were a few things I wish would have ended differently, but like I said the characters are what really shine in this series. Overall I think it is a very original storyline with very lovable characters. I dare you to read it and NOT fall in love with Ronan. Go on, just try!

Ahh you’re terrible! Can you not see how big my TBR is? Haha I’m sure it won’t be long before I get the series, though 😂🙈

ahah, well you must not be very expensive to live with!! I’m so jelly of you people living in the USA. Books are SO much cheaper there!! Well, they don’t actually cost an arm here, but you can see (and feel) the difference. 😛

I didn’t realize you weren’t in the states! Or maybe I have forgotten! Where are you located?! I have heard horror stories about how much books (or shipping costs) are in other parts of the world!!! I am so thankful that books are affordable here… My wallet appreciates it too 😅
