This week’s theme is…

April 5th: Top SFF Books on Your TBR *Booktube SFF Awards Babble Crossover Topic!*
–Talk about the science fiction and fantasy books you want to read ASAP!

If you remember, a few weeks ago (all the way back to March 8th) the theme for T5W was “Favorite Science Fiction & Fantasy Books.”  Unfortunately, my list for this topic only included fantasy books as science fiction is not a genre I frequent.  If you are curious, you can read my post here →Top 5 Wednesday: Favorite Fantasy Books.  Anyways!  I vowed in that post to make reading more science fiction a priority this year.

Here are my top science fiction books that I would like to read this year…

Confession time: I didn’t do so well with my March TBR, BUT I have excuses good reasons.  I blame this on the fact that many of the library books I requested for my upcoming book festivals started coming in…  My hands were tied.   Not to mention that one of the SOKY book festival authors, Cinda Chima, canceled and will no longer be attending the festival, so I had to jump ship on the book I planned on reading (The Demon King) to make time for other reads… Nothing personal Cinda Chima, but if you can no longer come to the festival, your book gets put on hold.  These are all legit excuses right?  (The correct response is “right!”)

Anyways!  Since most of my April TBR will be books for my upcoming festivals, I think it’s a pretty safe bet that the majority of these books WILL get read.

Let’s see what’s on the agenda for April shall we?

Weekly Wrap-Up: 3/27 – 4/2/17

Happy Sunday bookworms!

Did everyone have a good weekend?  Mine was low key, as my kids are now on spring break.  I think I look forward to school breaks just as much as my kids because it means I am not chauffeuring my two humans around all day to and from school and extracurricular activities.

Anyways!  My wrap-up this week is a pretty long one, but filled with lots of good stuff (at least I think so).  I talk about some upcoming projects on Cover2CoverMom and pose a few questions to my fellow book bloggers.  So pull up a chair and grab a cup of coffee/tea/wine (I won’t judge if you go with the wine) and let’s see what I had going on this past week, shall we?

*Weekly Wrap-Up is a weekly post where I feature what posts were published on the blog for the past week, any bookish/blog happenings, what I recently finished reading, what I am currently reading, what I will be reading next, noteworthy posts around the bookish blogosphere, and any interesting bookish articles I came across.

Happy end of March bookworms!

After my ridiculous reading month in January when I read 11 books, I really thought I had peaked in 2017.  That was until I read 14 books in March.  #NailedIt

My blogging month was also not too shabby.  All around, March was good to me.

Let’s recap shall we?
