Happy Sunday bookworms!
T-minus 12 days until Christmas! I have the week of Christmas off work and my children are off school, so I am ready to RELAX for the first time since August…
Let’s see what I’ve been reading and blogging lately…
*Bookish Weekly Wrap-Up is a weekly post where I feature what books I’ve been reading, which books are on my upcoming TBR, what posts were published on the blog for the past week, any bookish news I came across, and noteworthy posts from around the bookish community.
I’ve been in a crafty mood this month, so I busted out my cricut and have been busy making Christmas ornaments.
I’ve also been playing with HTV (heat transfer vinyl), so hopefully I’ll have some shirt and mask projects to share next week 🙂
Recently Finished Reading:
» Mr. Dickens and His Carol by Samantha Silva
While I enjoyed the story concept and audiobook narration for this story, the plot and execution wasn’t there. Also, I just couldn’t get past when Charles’ family leaves him, it was out of sight, out of mind.
» Prince of the Elves (Amulet #5) by Kazu Kibuishi
I’d probably say this installment is the weakest of the series thus far, but still an amazing graphic novel series.
» King and the Dragonflies by Kacen Callender
Worth the hype!
Currently Reading:
» Hollowpox: The Hunt for Morrigan Crow (Nevermoor #3) by Jessica Townsend
Status: 70%
» The Camelot Betrayal (Camelot Rising #2) by Kiersten White
Status: 10%
What Am I Reading Next?:
» Neverseen (Keeper of Lost Cities #4) by Shannon Messenger
Sophie Foster is on the run—but at least she’s not alone.
Her closest friends from the Lost Cities have gone with her to join the Black Swan. They still have doubts about the shadowy organization, but the only way to find answers is to start working with them. And as they settle into their new lives, they uncover secrets far bigger than anything they’d imagined.
But their enemies are far from done, and unleash a terrifying plague that threatens the safety of an entire species. Sophie and her friends fight with everything they have—with new allies joining them—but every choice has consequences. And trusting the wrong person could prove deadly.
In this game-changing fourth book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, Sophie must question everything to find a truth that will either save her world—or shatter it.
