September 2019 TBR: “Series September”

After the epic fail that was my August TBR, I have high hopes for my September TBR.  Like I did last year, I am going to do a “Series Septmeber” to focus on reading sequels to series I need to continue on with.

Let’s see what I’ll be reading this month…

» The Dragon Republic (The Poppy War #2) by R.F. Kuang

In the aftermath of the Third Poppy War, shaman and warrior Rin is on the run: haunted by the atrocity she committed to end the war, addicted to opium, and hiding from the murderous commands of her vengeful god, the fiery Phoenix.
