I’m so excited that May is almost here! I’m ready for some nice weather and not be cooped up inside all the time. I’m also more than ready for school to be over with… When you have children in school, you will find that you look forward to summer just as much as they do. Three months of no homework, projects, or studying!!! I can’t wait! I honestly don’t know how parents with multiple kids in school do it! I can barely handle one 3rd grader’s school load!
Anyways! Here is what I’m planning to read in May…
The Mapmaker’s Children by Sarah McCoy
*Blogging For Books
Miller’s Valley by Anna Quindlen
*NetGalley
Everyone Brave is Forgiven by Chris Cleave
*NetGalley
June by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore
*NetGalley
Hanging Mary by Susan Higginbotham
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho
Have you read any of these books? What did you think? What is on your May TBR list? Feel free to link your own May TBR post, I’d love to read it!

I still haven’t read The Alchemist. I’m curious to hear what you think of it.

I’ve definitely been seeing the first 4 around on lists and features – can’t wait to hear what you think and maybe pile up onto my tbrs too.
I hope you enjoy Everyone Brave, it really is a beautiful book (not 100% for me but I can see why it would be beloved, especially if you read a lot of historical fiction; it’s so well-written! And funny. Even I chuckled, and I’m not easily amused 😉 ).

Oh I wanna read The Alchemist!! I don’t even know what it’s about. To tell you the truth, when I was younger I thought this book and The Stranger by Albert Camus were one and the same lol.

I think it’s about a boy on a journey… All I know is that it’s short and I’ve been meaning to read it forever lol
