Top Ten Tuesday: 10 Bookish Blogs to Follow

IMG_4585 [90424].JPG

Hello and welcome to another Top Ten Tuesday post!  TTT was created by The Broke and the Bookish.  Check out their blog for more info and for upcoming TTT themes.  This week’s theme is 10 bookish people to follow on social media…

When I started this blog at the end of February, it’s an understatement to say that I was overwhelmed.  What if no one reads my posts?  What if no one follows me?  As the time went on, my fears were slowly eased. The bookish community is one of the most welcoming groups I have ever experienced.  In the short 6 weeks since starting Cover2CoverMom, I can say that I have connected with some great fellow bloggers!

I thought (yet again) I would put my own spin on the theme this week.  My TTT list is going to be a feature of some of those fellow bloggers who stick out in my mind as being the most supportive and welcoming.  Some of these bloggers have been with me since the very beginning (most likely they are unaware of this),  some are new bookish friends, some are those fellow bloggers you can always count on to “like” or comment on your posts, and some I just was left with a positive impression after a connection over a particular book or post.  These are the type of bloggers that you should follow, not only because they have fantastic blogs, but because they will welcome you with open arms…  Give their blog a visit, you won’t be sorry…

  1. Wow thanks so much for mentioning my blog! 🙂 I had the same worries as you when I first started my blog, but luckily the book blogging community is amazing and full of lovely and welcoming people!

      1. Haha, don’t worry – it didn’t notify me, but apparently you only get a notification if somebody tags one of your posts, or your about page. If they tag the main URL, wordpress doesn’t give them a notification (no idea why, wordpress is silly!) I only discovered this about a month ago – I’m still learning too!!

      2. Oh crap. Why would they only notify if you tag the about page and not the main page?! That makes no sense! WordPress must have been developed by a man 😂. Now I need to edit 😒

      3. Hahaha my thoughts exactly! I think it’s because it needs a post to attach itself to, otherwise there’s nowhere for the notification to go. When I get a notification, the tag appears as a comment on my about or whichever post has been tagged, so I think it just needs somewhere to sit, if you see what I mean.

  2. Thank you so much for the mention! I absolutely had the same fears when I started back in August. Then I finally began to see how big the online reading community is, and realized that there will always be someone out there to read if you build good relationships with people. Thanks so much for reading my blog– you’re as much a part of my journey as I was of yours 🙂

  3. I enjoy your blog a lot and never would have known that you were new at this when I started following you about a month ago. Bookish people really are so nice and welcoming. And, lastly, I am completely honored and blown away that you included me on your list. Thank you so much!!
