Greetings from vacation!  This past week was another busy week for our family, so we were ready for spring break.  My parents have a house up at Lake Erie (Ohio) so we decided to spend our Easter up here with my family.  Today was a perfect day full of beautiful weather and good family time.  It doesn’t get much better than that.  I hope you all had a wonderful Easter as well.

This week on the blog…

This book is taking me FOREVER to read… It took me the first 100 pages to get used to the author’s writing style and actually get into the book.  I am in the home stretch at 75% done.  I am hoping to finish by tomorrow night.

I began book #2 in the Bill Hodges Trilogy by Stephen King.  As some of you may know, Stephen King is coming to Ohio in June for his next book tour for the third installment in this series.  I am going to do whatever it takes to get tickets and see him when he comes to town!

Recently finished…

This was my second Stephen King novel to date.  This first novel of his that I read was Under the Dome, which is a sci-fi thriller.  Mr. Mercedes is a crime thriller.  I listened to this via audiobook, read by Will Patton.  Between Stephen King’s brilliant writing and Will Patton’s interesting voice, this was a winning combo for me.

On deck…

I have been looking forward to reading this book all month long!  Hopefully I’m not too burnt out from The Queen of the Night to enjoy this.

How was your week?  What did you read?  What is on your bookish agenda for this coming week?
